Tisséo is the Public Transport Netwok operator of the Greater Toulouse. Four essential missions have been defined for Tisséo: anticipate the transport of tomorrow; subscribe for a public service for everyone; to be committed in favour of a Sustainable Development Policy; and exploit the Network. Its main objective remains the exploitation, the development and the commercialisation of the Public Urban Transport service for the inhabitants of the Greater Toulouse.

Beyond those main objectives, Tisséo is also deeply involved in safety (for its employees, users and installations and equipments). In that sense, Tisséo prevents from work risks and improves permanently its safety results. In terms of quality service, Tisséo is committed into a certification process of the PT Network and its services (certification NF Service Transport of Passangers) delivered by AFNOR (French Association of Standardisation). Furthermore, Tisséo is also involved in Sustainable Development by improving the environmental performance of its bus fleet, metro and tramway, by allowing everyone to access to the PT network through an equitable pricing policy and by the positive impact on the economical development of the city.

Tisséo is a responsible company, sharing human values as solidarity and paying attention to youth, employment, prevention and social integration.
In December 2010, 2357 employers were working for Tisséo (352 women and 2015 men) at the bus exploitation and maintenance (1627 people of whom 1202 are drivers) and at the metro exploitation and maintenance (291 people).

The Public Transport network of Toulouse is composed of two lines of metro 12.5 and 15 km) opened in 1993 (line A) and in 2007 (line B) using the Siemens VAL System, and on line of tramway since end 2010. 77 bus lines are operational with a fleet of 551 buses (diesel and gas). 17 lines are subcontracted (Transport on Demand and regular lines). 24 school lines are also operated. One line operates between the Toulouse-Blagnac airport and the railway station Toulouse-Matabiau (accessibility of the buses for disable persons).

In 2009, 94 millions of travels have been made on the PT Network and 130 millions of validations/travellers have been recorder (on bus and metro).

In the frame of the ENERQI project, Tisséo has mainly in charge Task 3.1 Definition of a common methodolodgy and indicators. This common methodology will be implemented by the operators yo assure an optimal measurement of quality.
Tisséo will also manage the recruitment of a panel of observers/volunteers and will be assisted by a subcontractor on that task.
